A local, licensed, mobile locksmith company, operated by the team behind Golden Locks Inc., and built on 400+ five-star Google reviews.
Our story
Lake Forest Locksmith exists because this corner of South Orange County deserved better than dispatch-center locksmiths. We are operated by the licensed team behind Golden Locks Inc., the Huntington Beach company that built its name, and its 400+ five-star Google reviews (4.5 stars across 465 reviews), on plain things done unusually well: answering the phone, quoting the whole job, arriving when promised, and standing behind the work.
The Saddleback foothills were on our route long before this site: rekeying Baker Ranch move-ins the week the paint dried, cutting smart keys in the Sports Park lot during tournament weekends, helping Village residents back into condos with patience and a light touch, and learning exactly what each Laguna Woods gatehouse wants to see. So we built the company around this ground for real: local routes, neighborhood-level knowledge, and neighbor pricing.
What we stand for
Licensed and easy to verify. We work under California Locksmith License LCO4446. Ask us for it. Ask any locksmith for it. A real company never dodges the question.
Full prices before work. Every job is quoted whole before it starts. If what we find at your door changes the job, we explain why and wait for your go-ahead. Our reviews mention this more than anything else.
Repair before replace. Trust pays better than hardware markups. When a lock can be saved, we save it, and when it cannot, we show you the worn part and let the evidence talk.
Gate, senior, and new-build fluency. Village check-ins, unhurried help for senior residents, and builder-grade hardware that needs a real upgrade: the unglamorous details that decide whether a foothill job goes smoothly. Our techs handle them daily.
How we work
Instead of a retail shop, we run fully loaded mobile units. Each van carries cutting machines, fob programmers, rekey and extraction kits, and the Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, and Baldwin hardware our customers ask for. Most calls end in one visit, and low overhead keeps your price below the franchise quote.
Home base is Lake Forest, all of 92630, with the same crews covering Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Foothill Ranch, Tustin, North Tustin, and Villa Park. Emergencies are answered 24/7. Planned work like rekeys, upgrades, and master key projects books around your schedule, evenings and weekends included.
The quickest way to size up a locksmith is to watch one work. Call for a quote. The price is firm before we begin.

Yes. All work is performed under CA Locksmith License LCO4446, and every tech is vetted, trained, and insured. Guards at the Laguna Woods Village gates ask for those papers often, and we carry them in every van.
We run mobile. The shop is a fleet of stocked vans based in and around Lake Forest, so you skip the drive, we skip the rent, and the savings show up in your quote.
